Our Dogs

Kaneli, Manteli and Misteli are our working dogs, and our hobby is to find chanterelles and truffles. Dogs’ sense of smell is superior to humans and sniffing is an inherent activity for dogs. Dogs also remember different smells very well, so it is easy for them to learn to find several types of mushrooms. The best thing with this activity is that the dogs know how to do something that I cannot do, and they enjoy using their nose and working together with me. Both Kaneli and Manteli compete in elite class in rally obedience, while Misteli is in the open class and Saimi has only just started with this hobby. In addition to rally obedience competitions, we train indoors in a special hall a couple of times a week.

Breeding dogs, pictures and health details:

All our breeding dogs live as family members, either in our home or with their guardian families. This way, the dogs receive plenty of attention, love, and mental stimulation. Guardian families are carefully selected, and it is of utmost importance that the dogs can live as family members in a home-like environment.
